Erin Markham is a local Turner Ashby High School girl, whom earned her degree in dental hygiene while attending Horry Georgetown Technical College in Myrtle Beach, SC. While there she received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award and the Thomas W. Kelly, DDS Excellence in Radiology Award. Though she loved the beach life, the mountains kept calling her name. In the summer of 2005, after graduating college, she returned to Virginia to practice as a dental hygienist in Charlottesville, and later moved back to the valley. She now lives in Staunton with her husband, Patrick, and many fur babies. Erin loves visiting new places, concert-going, hiking, yoga and spending time at Smith Mountain Lake.
